What We Do
Dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in our community, CUPE Local 44 is committed to maintaining 187 square kilometers of land, 127 parks spanning 1400 acres, and 200 kilometers of cycling infrastructure. Our facilities include 4 indoor pools, 2 outdoor pools, 1 splash park, 9 splash pads, and 7 arenas & ice surfaces. Working tirelessly for our members since 1963, we strive to create a vibrant and sustainable environment for all.

Our mission has remained the same since inception: to advocate for better working conditions on behalf of the men and women who keep Burlington running and allowing for Burlington to remain one of the TOP 10 cities in Canada in which to live.
